UAE entrepreneurs will be able to visit Ugra as part of business missions

A number of working meetings were held by the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova at the site of EXPO 2020 in Dubai as part of the National Day of Russia.
Thus, during a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurasia Gulf, Tadeusz Dobrovolsky, the Head of the Region discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation.
According to Tadeusz Dobrovolsky, today the majority of employees in the company are representatives of CIS countries.
Organization assists companies that are members of the Gulf Cooperation Council to establish contacts with key markets in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
"This is our main task, for which we organize various business missions, business visits. Our target audience is local business community," he said.
Tadeusz Dobrovolsky expressed readiness to assist in establishing ties between the business entities of Ugra and the Persian Gulf countries: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain.
"Our work is comparable to the activities of volunteer organizations, since we do all the work at our own expense. We are ready to provide comprehensive support in the organization of business missions. We are focused on results," Deputy Chairman for Legal Affairs and Secretary Ayman Eskaraeva said.
"The United Arab Emirates pursues a policy of openness. We are ready to expand our horizons. We are interested in this - the project has serious practical significance. In Ugra, we use modern opportunities to build relationships with investors," Natalia Komarova stressed.
The Governor instructed relevant district departments to transit the interaction into a practical plane, to establish an exchange of contacts.
During a working meeting with the Governor of Ugra, Mohammed Suleiman, adviser to the general management of the Board of Directors of Commercial Bank of Dubai, said that this bank is the first in Abu Dhabi and today it already operates all over the world, including Russia.
The parties discussed proposals for cooperation, financing of investment projects localized in the Autonomous Okrug, promotion of products of venture companies, Ugra manufacturers.
The Head of the Region noted that Ugra is already building cooperation with companies localized in the United Arab Emirates. In particular, a venture capital investment service partnership has been established with TerraVC.
"We actively use modern financing technologies, concession agreements. Government of the Autonomous Okrug shares risks with investment companies when implementing projects. For example, we have launched two projects - the reconstruction of railway stations and production of biological additives - on the terms of reimbursement of up to 50 percent of investors' costs for their implementation," Natalia Komarova said.
"I am ready to provide any assistance, including in building relationships with any bank of the United Arab Emirates. We can start cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding, within the framework of which we will be able to establish an exchange of information," Mohammed Suleiman said.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a working group on interaction, use of the customer base of the First Bank of Abu Dhabi after appropriate verification.
