Medical workers of Ugra continue to be vaccinated against COVID-19

Today, on December 22, a meeting of the regional operational headquarters for the preventing of the import and spread of a new coronavirus infection was held online by the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova.
Prior to the meeting, the Head of the region Natalia Komarova said that the Government of the Russian Federation has extended and financially supported the possibility of issuing free medicaments to people who are infected with coronavirus and are being treated at home under the supervision of doctors. "Our region has been allocated 34.8 million rubles for these purposes. I ask the Health Department of the Autonomous Okrug to ensure continuous supply and delivery of necessary medicaments to patients who need it," the Governor said.
In Ugra, vaccination of medical workers against COVID-19 is being held. The Head of the Okrug's Health Department Alexey Dobrovolsky noted that in the Autonomous Okrug more than 45,000 medical workers and more than 73,000 educational workers should be vaccinated. Ugra was provided with 1,342 doses of the vaccine Gam-COVID-Vac within the framework of the federal supply. It is planned to vaccinate 1,122 people, including 896 medical workers, till the end of the year. "I also inform you that for 11 months of 2020, the number of medical workers increased by 133 specialists. The indicator is significantly higher than the average in Russia. We are completing the implementation of the project "Zemsky doctor". 56 medical workers were hired according to the Okrug's program and 92 – according to the Federal program. At the moment, there are enough specialists to provide assistance," the Head of the Department said.
Also during the meeting of the operational headquarters Natalia Komarova reminded that a workshop on the production of personal protective equipment was opened in Surgut. "This is the second time the production of masks and medical clothing is organized in the region. The first enterprise was opened in the village of Batovo (Khanty-Mansiysk region). The products of the enterprises meet the requirements of All Union State standard (GOST) Standards and technical requirements. Each new type of product is certified. When reaching the design capacity, these organizations will cover the needs in masks, protective suits, shoe covers for healthcare institutions and enterprises of the Autonomous Okrug," the Governor said.
Further, about the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin on a one-time payment to children aged 0-7 in the amount of 5 thousand rubles until the end of 2020. "The funds will be received by parents, adoptive parents, foster parents and trustees of children under the age of eight who have the citizenship of the Russian Federation," the Head of the region added. It should be noted that more than 179 thousand young Ugra residents will receive the new year's payment in an undeclared manner. In case when the child was born after July 1, 2020, and the parents did not apply for any of the payments for children, they can apply in their personal account on the public Services portal or in the client services of the Pension Fund.
In accordance with the order of the regional government No. 745 dated December 10, 2020, fr om December 25, 2020 to January 10, 2021, a special fire protection regime is introduced throughout the Autonomous Okrug. The Head of the region explained that the decision was made due to the need to prevent emergencies related to fires, in the pre-holiday days and during the long period of days-off. "From December 11 to 20, 2020, 68 fires occurred in the Okrug, which is 31% more than the same period in 2019, and the number of people affected has increased 4 times. Specialists of fire supervision begin inspections at the production, storage and pyrotechnics selling facilities," Natalia Komarova said.
In this regard, the Governor instructed the heads of municipalities of Ugra to pay special attention to residential areas, dacha cooperatives and those wh ere there is no stable system of heat and electricity supply. "I urge you, dear fellow countrymen, to be careful and attentive. Remind your children about the rules of careful maintenance of fire, electricity, pyrotechnics," Natalia Komarova addressed the residents of the region.
