The competition, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) in cooperation with the World Bank, is aimed at developing MVP solutions to socially significant problems.
During the two-day hackathon, participants used artificial intelligence (AI) and big data to develop software for one of the 30 tasks presented. In other words, they created a version of an IT product with minimal functionality that solves one of the global social problems: from implementing a system for monitoring and predicting accidents on the roads to predicting dynamics of the birth rate and construction of kindergartens. 37 teams from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Kazan, Ekaterinburg and Lipetsk competed for the victory.
Ugra Research Institute of Information Technologies was represented by programmers Vladimir Baluyev, Nizam Keramov, as well as the head of the Institute Andrey Melnikov and the head of the Center for information and analytical systems Vladimir Burlutsky. As part of the YUNIIIT-INTERSVYAZ team, together with colleagues from Tula, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk region and Tatarstan, they presented an intelligent algorithm for automated processing of citizens' requests. According to the results of the competition, this solution was among the best and took an honorable fourth place.
The system developed by Ugra specialists enables automated processing of citizens' appeals, allows their analysis and processing in three modes at once: analysis, review and thematic modeling of citizens' appeals. This solution can be integrated into administrative processes of regional authorities and used for the benefit of residents.
The issue of implementing a system for automated processing of citizens' appeals will be included in the agenda of the digital week, which will be held in Ugra on November 23-29 in an online format and will be broadcast on the event's website.
