Best athletes of Ugra were named in Khanty-Mansiysk at the "Sports Elite"

Department of Public and External Relations of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra informs:

Solemn ceremony honoring athletes, trainers and specialists of physical culture and sports of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug "Sports elite" took place in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova, welcoming athletes and trainers, stressed that thanks to the victories of Ugra residents, young people come to the sport, many choose a healthy lifestyle. 

"Behind your team success, of course, is the long-term teamwork of athletes, trainers, and sports workers. And, of course, support of the fans. I am confident that fans are the main driving force of sports and the motivator of any of you to achieve success, to show results," the Head of the Region said.

"2020-2021 were difficult in preparation for sports competitions. It is an honor for me to be here and thank you once again for qualifying for the competitions and winning them. Thanks to the Ugra team for what you did. Khanty-Mansiysk met all the athletes and hosted competitions," Eduard Isakov, a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, said.

During the event, the winners of the competition in the nomination "Golden Reserve of Ugra Sports" were named. 47 athletes, trainers engaged in Olympic and non-Olympic, Deaflympic and Paralympic, national, technical and applied sports.

"You are the future of sports, new champions. You have everything for success: natural ability, infrastructure, competent trainers, support of family and friends. I will add to this the support of Ugra residents," the Governor addressed the athletes.

Decree of the Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug awarded the honorary badge "Pride of Ugra" for outstanding achievements in sports at the Russian and international levels: Albert Batyrgaziev, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, champion of the 32 Summer Olympic Games in boxing, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, silver medalist of the open All-Russian sports competitions Winter Paralympic Games "We are together. Sports" in sledge hockey Vasiliy Varlakov, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, winner of the open All-Russian sports competitions "Winter Paralympic Games"We are together. I would like to wish all sports fans purposefulness. Khanty-Mansiysk has not only excellent conditions for holding events of various levels, but also very sincere people. When these two components are combined into one, it is a pleasure both for sports and for life," Mikhail Devyatyarov, Soviet and Russian skier, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Olympic champion in 1988, silver medalist of the 1988 Olympic Games, said.

Gratitude of the Governor of Ugra for high sport results was announced to the master of sports of Russia of international class Timur Naniev, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, participant of the 24 Winter Olympic Games in snowboarding Andrey Sobolev, master of sports of Russia of international class, participant of the 24 Winter Olympic Games in snowboarding Natalia Soboleva. 

The winners of the Sports Elite of the Year contest in the nomination "The best athlete of the Year of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra" were Albert Batyrgaziev, Maxim Khramtsov, Zaurbek Sidakov, Anastasia Gontar.

"This is a very joyful event, where a lot of good people gather. To see them is a great happiness. Everyone has their own area and we don't always manage to meet, but it's good that there is a "Sports elite" where we can meet, rejoice and exchange the latest news," Olympic champion Albert Batyrgaziev said.

Artur Naifonov, Timur Naniev, Andrey Sobolev, Sergey Ustyugov, Kristina Reztsova won in the nomination "5 best athletes of the year in Olympic sports".

The winners in the nomination "The best trainer in Olympic sports" were Viktor Rozhkov (wrestling, Nizhnevartovsk), Ruslan Kushtanov (boxing, Nizhnevartovsk), Aleksandr Lashpanov (taekwondo, Nizhnevartovsk).

Ugra Boxing Federation, Ugra Volleyball Federation, and Ugra Deaf Sports Federation were recognized as winners in the nomination "3 best regional Sports Federations". 

Surgut men's volleyball team of the institution "Avers" (volleyball, sports of the deaf) was recognized as the winner of the "Sports Elite of the Year" competition in the nomination "The best team in game sports among people with disabilities". 

Winners in the nomination "The 3 best municipalities of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra for implementation of the All–Russian sports complex "Ready for Work and Defense", are the Beloyarsk district, Pokachi, Nefteyuganskiy district.

Surgut residents were recognized as laureates in the nomination "5 best athletes in non-Olympic sports": Ivan Belyaev and Natalia Mazhaeva (kettlebell lifting), Alexey Ryabkov (kettlebell lifting, Khanty-Mansiysk district), Daria Linova and Tatiana Yuzhakova (sports tourism).

The winners in the nomination "The best trainer of the year in non-Olympic sports" were Mikhail Shpartko (kettlebell lifting, Surgut) and Ralif Muslimov (sports tourism, Nizhnevartovsk).

The water polo club "Ugra", mini-football club "Gazprom-Ugra", hockey club "Ugra" were recognized as the best in the nomination "3 best teams in game sports".

Vadim Epanchintsev (hockey) was recognized as the winner of the nomination "The best trainer in gaming sports".

The winners in the nomination "5 best athletes in Paralympic sports": Azat Farrakhov (blind sports (powerlifting), Nizhnevartovsk), Dmitry Dushkin (athletics, Surgut), Olga Pozdnysheva (judo (blind sports), Surgut), Andrey Obodchuk (chess, Khanty-Mansiysk).

Sergei Gramatikopolo (swimming (sports of persons with Musculo-Skeletal/Mobility Disabilities), Surgut) became the winner in the nomination "The best trainer of the year in Paralympic sports".

Surgut residents Igor Zalutsky (athletics (deaf sports), Vladimir Shmygin and Roman Simanovsky (volleyball (deaf sports), Maxim Bgan and Ardasher Mumindzhanov (athletics (sport of the deaf)) were recognized as the best in the nomination "5 best athletes in Deaflympic sports".

Stanislav Rudenko (volleyball (deaf sports)) became the winner in the nomination "The best trainer in Deaflympic sports". 

The winner of the competition in the nomination "The best sports class" was the 7 "D" class of Secondary school No. 13, 7 "A" class of Salym secondary school No. 1.

The winners of the competition in the nomination "The best teacher of physical culture" are teacher of physical culture Svetlana Bastina (Nefteyugansk), physical education teacher Nesur Fataliev (Nefteyugansk district).

Victor Vorobyov (sambo, Nizhnevartovsk), Ilya Grinenko (Thai boxing, Surgut), Mikhail Shpartko (kettlebell lifting, Surgut) were recognized as winners in the nomination "3 best children's trainers".

The winners of the nomination "3 best athletes among sports veterans" were Svetlana Ivanova (athletics, Khanty-Mansiysk), Aleksandr Tarakanov (basketball, Nizhnevartovsk), Aleksandr Kozlovsky (kettlebell lifting, Sovetsky district).

Athlets Lyudmila Porosenkova (Nefteyugansk district), Artem Lakienko (Surgut district), Danil Iusi (Nizhnevartovsk district) were recognized as the best in the northern all-around in the nomination "3 best athletes in national sports".

The winners in the nomination "3 best athletes in applied and technical sports" were Irina Lobanova (aviation model sport, Urai), Anton Maslov (fire and rescue sport, Nefteyugansk), Natalia Mitkinykh (aviation model sport, Urai).
